Pneumatic pinch valve is a simple structure valve which consist of rubber hose and metal or plastic housing. The inner rubber hose form a lip seal under the pressure of air to stop the medium flow.
Pneumatic pinch valve consist of rubber hose or rubber sleeve with housing.Housing can be plastic, aluminum alloy, stainless steel or other material.
Pneumatic pinch valve is low pressure valve , the suitable medium pressure range is 0-6 bar. Negative pressure is -50kpa to 0.
Pneumatic pinch valve suitable temperature mainly based on the rubber hose applicable temperatre range. In general, we supply natural rubber,EPDM,NBR.
Natural rubber applicable temperature range is : -10 C to 80 C.
EPDM applicable temperature range is : -10 C to 120 C.
NBR applicable temperature range is : -10 C to 80 C.
Other rubber also can be customized follow the customer request.
Pneumatic pinch valve sealed by the pressure difference between the air chamber and the medium, theoretically as long as the pressure difference is big enough, the pneumatic pinch valve can be used for stop the air, water , oil , powder, silk and other different kinds of medium. For all medium , it can be 0 leakage, have good sealing performance.
Control pressure ≥ medium pressure + pressure difference
In general, the pressure difference can be adjusted from low to high, according our experience, keep the pressure difference at 1bar to 4bar is the best for this valve.
Soft rubber hose pressure difference may at 1 bar , this rubber hose suitable for low pressure control.
Hard rubber hose pressure difference may at 4 bar, this rubber hose suitable for high pressure control.
Different size also has different pressure difference since of the rubber stress.Small size like DN6, DN10 's pressure difference is larger than the DN50, DN65 . Larger size means smaller pressure difference.
